Our assessment
Across every service reviewed on this page, this is the only one that makes a cardiovascular measurement a precondition of treatment. A blood pressure reading from the past twelve months is required, and men reporting chest pain or breathlessness are excluded rather than prescribed to. That is a meaningful design decision and it deserves to be said first.
It matters because of what erectile dysfunction frequently is. A man whose symptom is the early expression of vascular disease is exactly the man a questionnaire misses, and requiring a number — even a self-reported one from a previous appointment — puts the relevant question in the path rather than around it.
The formulary is also disciplined. Approved PDE5 inhibitors only; no compounded combination is offered at all. Whoever specified this service decided not to sell the thing that most of this market sells, and the absence is the point.
Two caveats. The blood pressure reading is something you report rather than something anyone measures, so a man who has genuinely not seen a clinician in years has nothing to report and may be tempted to guess. And the follow-up window closes after fourteen days, which is short for a medication that often needs dose adjustment across several attempts.
